Dubuque County Fine Arts Society

Founded in 1976, Dubuque County Fine Arts Society (DCFAS) has grown into a broad-based not-for-profit arts organization with a variety of affiliate groups and programs, always with the underlying principles: Art is for everyone and Art should be accessible to everyone.

These core ideas are implemented through programming with two primary functions:

1. To increase the audience for the arts by appealing to the entire population of the Dubuque area by offering free or inexpensive arts programming and education.
2. To encourage and assist local artists, actors, writers, musicians and other creators and performers by offering opportunities to exhibit or perform for a wider audience.

Through a range of programming, DCFAS provides diverse opportunities to create and experience art.
